THE STORY

The Pilot Episode – The SE1 flies over a futuristic landscape, advertising itself by forming solar eclipses over the city. As Sierra and her team of droid designers prepare for a press conference introducing their Arch model, they notice Arch acting a little “outside of parameters.” A lot is riding on this moment: these are the first androids released to the world since the ten-year moratorium following the A.I. Wars.

The malfunctioning droid triggers a repressed trauma in Orion: it seems a robot he built as a teen in his family garage ended up killing his brother during the Robot Rebellion, when the enemy turned AI on its owners. Since then, Orion has dedicated his life to building AI that is nothing but beneficial to humankind.

At the press conference, reporters note a mutual attraction between Orion and Crystal Fawn, the star of the Solar Eclipse movie Creation. It's clear Crystal wants to meet up with Orion on the SE1.

Onboard the vast orbiting sphere, as the opening ceremonies begin, the team members take their stations in various rides. Meanwhile, two goons inject a virus into the droid Arch 209 that deactivates one of his safety mechanisms. Instantly Arch starts acting selfish and cagey.
