The Minister of the Arts' crowning achievement is to launch a giant orbiting amusement park that advertises itself by creating solar eclipses over cities.
Designed to help maintain peace and the world order, the SE 1 is a vast spherical space station, with holodeck-style rides packed with adventure, creativity and self-examination, extreme sports and erotic fantasy. Every ride is paired up with its own holographic TV show; every major player is under constant scrutiny by the insatiable media. But the Minister of the Arts' rivals on the Global Council have other plans, and feed a virus into one of the new fleet of humanlike, fully functional androids in a plot to assassinate the world leader.
